Additional time
Each additional hour of wedding coverage is $400 per hour with an additional delivery of 50 images per additional hour.

Location
A location is defined as an agreed-upon meeting point and all locations within walking distance of that point.

Retainers
A signed agreement and 50% retainer is due to secure your session.

Image selection
My services include painstaking consideration and selection of the top images from each shoot. Each shoot can result in hundreds or even thousands of images, depending on the package. I use my highly trained eye and years of experience to cull the best images from these to present as final deliverables. 

That said, if you feel an important shot wasn’t included or you can’t find any photos of a favorite aunt at the wedding reception, just let me know! Hopefully, this doesn’t happen: I strive to ensure I’m familiar with your list of can’t-miss shots and important people to photograph. 

My editing style
My style is photojournalistic in approach, when shooting and in the virtual “darkroom.” All images are edited for color, lighting, cropping and to remove any unwanted distractions, completed in a natural manner. Portfolio images on this website are an accurate reflection of my work.

Further edits
Additional images in excess of delivered images may be edited at $10 each.

How many photos will we get? 
Each package comes with a minimum of photos. I believe it is my job to deliver a succinctly edited gallery of final images that tells the story of your wedding, rather than an overwhelming amount of snapshots. I will artfully edit every image and deliver them as high-resolution digital files with reprinting rights. This means that your images are yours: you won’t see a watermark and you won’t ever be asked to pay for the rights to your own images. 

What if it rains? Or snows? 
During our strategic planning session (included with every Hitched Northwest wedding photography package) we will go over inclement weather solutions so we have a game plan if the weather decides not to cooperate.

What if I’m awkward in front of the camera? 
Don’t worry, I’ve got you! I love helping people look and feel their best in front of the camera, and I’ve got lots of tricks for showing off your best attributes. 

I offer a free engagement session with every Hitched Northwest wedding photography package: it’s a great way to gain confidence in front of the camera, and a wonderful way to get to know each other better! Bonus: you’ll have cute pics for your wedding website or save-the-dates!

When should we take photos? 
I love designing a wedding photography schedule! We will come up with a plan that reflects your personal style and preferences during our strategic planning session. More than 15 years as a wedding photographer have taught me how to create a successful and stress-free wedding photography strategy.  

Will I have permission to share our images online and in print? 
Absolutely: These are your images and I want you to use them across every online and print platform. Each Hitched Northwest photography package includes reprinting and usage rights. 

When will the photos be ready?
I always share a sneak peek via social media and your inbox within 24 hours so you can start sharing too. Within 6-8 weeks of your wedding date I’ll send you an email to your passcode-protected online gallery with all your final edited images. You can download full-resolution jpegs and purchase professional prints through my lab. You can share your custom link with friends and family too so they can download images and order prints. Your gallery will remain available for one year after the day I send you the link.

Can you Photoshop me? 
My style is photojournalistic in approach, when shooting and in the virtual “darkroom.” Every final image I deliver is professionally edited for exposure, color correction, cropping and straightening to achieve a pleasing and technically accurate final image, completed in a natural manner. Portfolio images on this website are an accurate reflection of my work. Further editing is considered retouching and is available on a per image basis, starting at $25 per image for standard retouching requests, or more for complex requests. That said, I am a body positive photographer and I do not believe in skin smoothing or body slimming manipulations. I promise to help you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, and to create a flattering final result.
